Alumni Zone
The Leadership Johnson County Alumni Association Board welcomes alumni who want to help plan civic, community, enrichment,
philanthropic, educational and social activities for LJC graduates. The Alumni Association strives to keep the
graduates involved in the community by providing an array of activities for all graduates. The Alumni

- Helped organize a "Weekly Promise Campaign" for the Interchurch Food Pantry. Alumni developed a plan to help
the pantry obtain weekly sponsors and then volunteered to assist with plan implementation.
- Has staffed the Johnson County Good Cheer phone lines during every holiday season since 2000.
- Attended "Souper Bowl Thursday" to decorate bowls, benefiting the Soup Bowl Project for Habitat for Humanity of
Johnson County.
- Sponsored a Sunshine Law Seminar and a Land Use Series for the general public in 2004-2005.
- Held "Consensus 101" and "Roberts Rules of Order 101" workshops in 2006.
- Hosted several networking events and helped plan and organize a variety of special events to raise money for
Leadership Johnson County.
